Pam Gaslow is a New York City-based artist, specializing in unique, fashion-related work. Her collection of dresses - fashion on canvas, has created a niche in the art world, and is adored by both the public and fashion-insiders.

Pam creates custom pieces for individuals and private businesses. She thrives on providing her clients with the unique and special experience of owning a one-of-a-kind piece that fits perfectly with their décor and tastes. Working directly with clients as well as interior decorators, Pam creates art based on elements such as a theme, color scheme, or whimsical idea.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Pam graduated from George Washington University with a B.A. in psychology and later studied graphic design at Parsons. She's tried her hand at many jobs, including a stint as an undercover security person at Henri Bendel, before devoting herself exclusively to creating unique mixed media pieces and witty societal observations in vignettes such as "Girls Are Weird", published in August, 2000. Using her skills as both an artist and writer, Pam combines traditional mediums with found objects to create colorful, whimsical, clever and often tongue-in-cheek hilarious pieces.

Pam's work has been shown in galleries throughout the country. She participates in various charitable events, and has been involved with organizations such as Dress For Success, the Children's Expressions Project, and the Advanced Research Foundation. Pam's art has been featured in fashion trade shows, and in WWD. Her work is also on display at several high-end boutiques in New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
